1. Application and Pre-Assessment Process
- Communication and Medical Reports: International patients can contact our Health Tourism Unit directly via email (
kutahya.sehirhastanesi@saglik.gov.tr). Patients are requested to forward their recent epicrisis, laboratory results, radiology images (MRI, CT, etc.), and pathology reports. - Clinical Evaluation and Treatment Plan: Our Health Tourism Chief Physician and relevant department specialists thoroughly review the medical documentation. A "Preliminary Medical Opinion and Cost Estimation Form" detailing the tailored treatment plan, estimated length of stay, and pricing is then delivered to the patient.
2. Admission and Hospitalization Procedures
- Registration and Verification: Upon arrival, the patient’s passport, visa (if applicable), and identity credentials are cross-checked by our Health Tourism coordinators, and the official registration is completed under the "International Patient" status.
- Required Documents for Admission:
- Original Passport or International ID Card (with a valid entry stamp).
- Existing national health insurance policy documents or international travel/medical insurance certificates (if applicable).
- Previous medical history summaries, medication lists, or allergy cards (translated into English).
- The "International Patient Informed Consent Form" prepared in the patient's native language, completed prior to any clinical or surgical interventions.
3. Discharge and Post-Treatment Follow-Up
- Discharge Summary (Epicrisis): Following the completion of the clinical treatment, a comprehensive Discharge Summary (Epicrisis) is issued in English to ensure seamless continuity of care with the patient's local physicians in their home country.
- Preions and Medication Guidance: All post-discharge medications, dosage schedules, and clinical instructions are systematically detailed and handed over to the patient in writing.
